Catholic Schools Week 2014
Mayor Chuck Haney presented Bishop Hogan principal Pam Brobst and Fr. Kneib a proclamation for Catholic Schools Week.
The theme in 2014 was "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service."

Congratulations Carleigh Crawford and Sydney Baxter for winning the overall Science Fair and the 7th grade division.
Other Winners: 8th grade - Garret Donoho, 6th grade - Caroline Witt, 5th grade - Eli Cross
All of the students did a nice job of coming up with an experiment, doing it, collecting data, and reporting the results on a display board. I hope it was a good learning experience for everyone. Kindergarten through 4th grade did group projects that were displayed at the Science Fair.

Our Book Fair did very well - thanks to all of you. We were able to earn $489 scholastic dollars with which to purchase books for our library. The other benefit is that students have some great books at home to read!
Through your donations and sales, we were able to purchase 76 new books for our Library. Most of these book are fiction and for various age groups and reading levels. Thank You so much for your generosity during the Book Fair and all year long. The children at Bishop Hogan love to read and updating the library allows them access to the books they want to read.
